Anthony Davis has been white hot out of the gate, somehow seeming to live up to the impossible hype surrounding him entering this season. In his first two games he posted stat lines of 26 points, 17 rebounds, and 9 blocks followed by a 31 point, 15 rebound, and 3 block performance. Last night Al Jefferson taught him some things though:
Normally, you might say that the veteran is teaching the youngster a lesson here, except that Al Jefferson was doing this to people almost immediately upon entering the league. When people talk about Big Al Jefferson and his post moves, this is what they are talking about.
Davis still had 24 and 13 in the 100-91 Pelicans win. Big Al had 20 and 5, but his move should be worth 4 points just for how pretty it is.
